Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

We provide everything needed for your experience.  If you would like, you may bring a swim cap.  However, your hair may still get wet.

I would like a Float and a Massage.  Which should come first?

To maintain the quality of the solution in our Float Tanks, and protect proper function, a Massage must be scheduled AFTER your Float. This also helps relax muscles so our Therapists can more easily find any problem areas.

Do I need to complete any paperwork before my appointment?

After booking a Float session, an email confirmation will be sent along with a Waiver.  This can be filled out online, or in person.  For Massage, we will ask that you fill out an intake form in person.

How sanitary are your Float Tanks?

Our tanks are strictly maintained and cleaned after every user.
Each tank is equipped with a filtration system, Ozonator, UV, and a highly concentrated solution of Epsom Salt/H2O.  Solution is treated with Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide.

Is it necessary to shower before a Float Session?

Yes. This is an absolute necessity to keep our tanks and solution in proper order.

Can I Float if I recently colored my hair?

You must wait 5 days, or until your hair no longer bleeds color onto a white towel.  (We may ask to check this before you enter the tank.)

Do I need to wear a bathing suit?

While we take the comfort level of our clients very seriously, we recommend floating without to gain the best experience possible.  If you would prefer to wear a bathing suit, please wash in a fragrance/dye free detergent.  Also, rinse thoroughly during pre-float shower.
